The data controller responsible for your personal data is the operator of the Healthcare Jobs UAE Portal, registered and operating within the United Arab Emirates.

Account Data: Full name, email address, phone number, hashed password, role type, registration date.

Candidate Profile Data: Professional specialization, experience years, nationality, gender, date of birth, current location (emirate), employment history, education, skills, languages spoken, license authority (DHA/DOH/MOH/DHCC), license number, resume document.

Employer Data: Company name, trade license number, industry, company size, emirate, contact information, logo.

Application Data: Applications submitted, cover letters, application status history, AI match scores.

Communication Data: Messages exchanged between candidates and employers through the Platform.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, session data, cookies.

AI Processing Data: Resume text submitted for AI parsing, job descriptions generated, match scoring inputs and outputs.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Consent: AI-powered features (resume parsing, job matching) require explicit consent per PDPL
Contractual necessity: Account creation, job applications, and employer services
Legitimate interest: Platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement
Legal obligation: Compliance with UAE employment and data protection laws

5. How We Use Your Data

To create and manage your account
To facilitate job applications and recruitment processes
To provide AI-powered resume parsing and job matching (with consent)
To enable communication between candidates and employers
To send notifications about application status changes
To send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
To maintain platform security and prevent abuse

6. AI Processing

We use third-party AI services (OpenAI) for resume parsing and job description generation. When you consent to AI processing:

Your resume text is sent to OpenAI for structured data extraction
Data is processed in transit and not stored by the AI provider beyond the request
AI-generated outputs (parsed fields, match scores) are stored in our database
You can revoke AI processing consent at any time through your account settings

7. Data Sharing

We share your data only as follows:

Employers: Your profile and application data are shared with employers you apply to
AI Providers: Resume text and job data for AI processing (with consent)
Email Services: Email addresses for transactional email delivery
Legal Requirements: When required by UAE law or court order

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

8. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including CSRF protection, rate limiting, secure session management, and password hashing using scrypt.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion request, personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Audit logs are retained for 2 years per UAE regulatory requirements.

Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, you have the right to:
